Beautiful letter from the pilot before the publication of Courrier Sud. He is "assigned to... Brest to follow the courses given to naval officers (for air navigation). The Minister of the Air appoints two civilians a year, including myself. For six months I'll be doing mathematics and astronomy instead of flying. My life is varied. I'm off to Toulouse until classes start (February)". He hopes to see his beloved old man again, via Paris: "I have kept a decidedly charming memory of my stay in Le Havre". Then he talks about his book, Courrier Sud: "My book seems to have been quite successful, and I think it will do well. When it's published, you'll be entitled to a nice copy on Hollande"...
