Please tell him that this painting is advanced & that I need a frame for it. Here are the measurements: 0 m 44 c. strong, 0 m 38 ½ weak. These measurements may seem well taken by the fine, but nevertheless they must be so, & you will tell Mr Tesse that I beg him to take good care that they are as I give them; & also, as soon as he is finished, to kindly have his frame packed, & send it to me. [...] Tell Mme Rousseau that although she has put me through the most unheard-of misery, I wish her good health all the same.
