135th Line non-commissioned officer's kepi. Black cloth headband embroidered with the number 135 in scarlet thread. Scarlet cloth turban with black soutaches. Pomegranate buttons and gilded chinstrap. Inner headpiece in brown leather monogrammed "OB" and beige satinette. Circa 1900. A.B.E. (wear and small moth holes).
