Bolt stamped en suite. Breechcase marked "Châtellerault A. Chassepot". Iron fittings. Walnut stock. Model iron ramrod, later. Leather shoulder strap. Barrel length: 81 cm - Overall length: 130 cm A.B.E. Heavily pitted scratches. With Chassepot bayonet. Bronze handle. St Etienne blade dated "9bre 1873". Tin scabbard with guard serial number. Length : 69 cm A.B.E. (pitting, later brown leather gusset).
