An XI type cavalry non-commissioned officer's saber. Leather-covered handle with double silver-plated copper filigree. Brass mounting, three-prong hilt with two shuttle-shaped pommels. Quillon curved towards the tip. Curved blade with flat back and hollow sides. Sheet-iron scabbard with two bracelets and two brass rings. Asymmetrical iron sting. Length: 101 cm Circa 1810. A.B.E.
