English officer's sword. Fusée covered in stingray with double leather filigree. Gilt brass mounting. Single-branch guard with two straight quillons. Partly folding egg-shaped shell. Triangular blade engraved in thirds with floral motifs and trophies. Leather scabbard (partly stripped) with three gilded brass fittings and two suspension rings, signed "Prosser Manufacturer to his Majesty London". Length: 102 cm Circa 1800-1810. A.B.E.
