Provenance: Michel Romand (1929-2013), great-grandson of Edmond Sagot (1857-1917).This print is to be compared with the pencil drawing Mother and Child (circa 1883), in reverse, from the collection of the Musée d'Art Moderne, Paris (donated by Marcelle Berr de Turique, inventory no. AMD 864), featured in the Suzanne Valadon exhibition (Centre Pompidou, January 15-May 26, 2025).
