[MANUSCRIPT - PRAYERS]
Prayer for the dreaded feasts.
4 pages, in-8 format. Scribal handwriting, possibly Italian.
Probably 17th century.
Text organized in the form of a responsory between the cantor and the audience. The cantor exposes the indignity of peoples, while the audience exalts the greatness of the Jewish people. The liturgical part for the Jewish people follows alphabetical order, skipping a consonant each time. The vocalization, which does not follow today's standards, suggests that the manuscript dates from at least the 17th century.
