In 1965, Yolande and Lucien visited Pablo Picasso at the Madoura studio. The master grabbed a freshly turned bowl, imprinted Yolande's nail file, cut out part of the piece and carved his friend's double face into the still-baked clay. After firing, he will offer the piece to Yolande. Lucien Clergue witnesses the scene and immortalizes it with a few snapshots.
