"A particular feature of the publication was its support for Art Nouveau. Paul Émile Boutigny, a French military painter, called on the greatest artists available and put every conceivable lithographic technique at their disposal. This produced artistic rarities and sometimes unusual masterpieces. The content, however, was not neglected, and featured previously unpublished works, often reproduced with the same concern for quality" (Christian Richet).

A rare bound volume.
Enriched copy of issue VI of the magazine L'Album, 1901, entirely illustrated by Charles Léandre, and issue 14 of the German magazine Jugend, March 1900.
Joints rubbed and cracked, some restorations. Spine and hinge of first volume damaged.
