Single-branch hilt with day shell, decorated with anchor and vine leaves. Dolphin-head quillon. Curved blade with rounded back engraved "Coulaux Klingenthal Frères". Leather scabbard (worn), with three brass fittings and two rings. Anchor cap. Gold-plated lanyard (damaged). A.B.E. Third Republic period.
