Mexican officer's or diplomat's sword. Chased brass mounting. Spur with mother-of-pearl plates. Single-branch hilt with quillon curved towards the tip. Daylight keyboard decorated with foliage and Mexican eagle. Triangular blade engraved in thirds. Leather scabbard (accident, breakage), with two brass fittings, cut and chased. Length: 93 cm E.M.
