Fancy model cavalry officer's saber derived from the 1822 light cavalry model. Stingray-covered handle with simple brass filigree (accident). Chased and gilded brass mounting, three-pronged guard with openwork foliage scrolls between the prongs. Curved blade with flat back, hollow sides, gutter and frosted heel, unmarked.
