Foreign light cavalry officer's saber. Leather-covered handle with double filigree. Brass mounting, lion-head pommel with long skirt, single-branch hilt and two shuttle-shaped pommels. Curved, flat-backed blade engraved in gold and blued in thirds (remains). Brass two-ring scabbard. Asymmetrical iron sting. Length: 99 cm A.B.E. circa 1810-1820.
