Straight quillon ending in a faceted knob, bearing later Versailles hallmarks. Curved, flat-backed blade, engraved Mture Imple du Klingenthal Coulaux Frères, (partly retouched), with counter-edge and hollow sides. Brass scabbard punched with two bracelets and a hollow. Iron ring and sting. A.B.E. First Empire model, later manufacture, with period blade.
