Light cavalry officer's saber. Checkered wooden handle. Silver-plated brass mounting, single-branch guard and stamped quillon. Curved blade with flat back and hollow sides, engraved with flowers. Posterior silver-plated scabbard, engraved with a semiset of scales and foliage, and a semiset of stars on the back. Cut-out iron sting. B.E. Consulate period for the frame and blade.
