Proof in mandarin glass with acid-etched decoration on a frosted ground, the branches and leaves enhanced with gold, the flowers in polychrome hard enamel. The white glass handle is modeled and hot-glued, and polychrome-enameled on the inside; the joints are also polychrome-enameled. The base and lid are hinged with Renaissance-style motifs. Circa 1900. Gold wear on the vermeil parts. Signed DAUM Nancy with the Cross of Lorraine, engraved under the base, each vermeil part stamped with the Master Goldsmith and Guarantee marks.
