Cloisonné enamel on copper bowl decorated with dragons, fish and crabs, China, 19th century Round in shape, with a flattened body mounted on a wide cylindrical foot, it is decorated around the rim with four dragons in the clouds in pursuit of the sacred pearl. The interior is decorated with crabs and various fish amidst seaweed, with a turtle in the center. Around the neck, a frieze of ruyi heads in the shape of lingzhi mushrooms. The underside of the bowl is decorated with a turtle-shell design, paved with small hexagons surrounded by midnight-blue on a turquoise ground, with a central design of a white flower with six petals and a red pistil. The foot is similarly decorated with green hexagons and red flowers. Diameter: 33 cm
