The crown bears an up-to-date cut-out saying: "ТАКОГО ПОДЛИВАЛО НИГДѢ НЕ БЫВАЛО" ("there is nowhere such a pourer") and the body an embossed engraved saying "САМОВАРЪ ЧТО МОРЕ СОЛОВЕЦКОЕ, ПЬЮТЪ ИЗЪ НЕГО ПРО ЗДОРОВЬЕ МОЛОДЕЦКОЕ" ("the samovar is like the Solovki sea, we drink from it to the health of the brave"). Hallmarks: 84, Moscow 1882, assayer "А-К" (Alexander Stakhevich Kudrin) and silversmith "САЗИКОВА" surmounted by the court supplier eagle (SAZIKOV factory).
