All decorations on all sides are niello: the lid is decorated with the monument of Peter I in St. Petersburg (the Bronze Horseman), the four slices with trophies, and the bottom engraved with a circular medallion with a border of trophies with, in the center, a cannon on which stands a lion with the date 1813.
