As can be seen in this book, unlike intaglio engraving, carborundum engraving does not cut into the surface of the plate, but adds relief structures. Limited edition of 109 copies on Moulin de Larroque vat paper, signed by the author and artist, this one being one of 10 hors commerce, marked C, comprising the 11 plates numbered and signed by Max Papart. A very well preserved copy.
