It is illustrated with 4 color photographs, representing 4 polychrome wooden sculptures by the artist. Preface by Philippe de Villiers and texts by Michel Manville (Éléments pour une sociologie des foires et marchés) and Bernard Blot (Le Démiurge fait son marché). Personal copy of bookbinder Marc Ollivier, who bound it with two polychrome wooden sculptures by Jean Estaque, specially made for the binding.
