CHRISTOFLE second half of the 19th century Set of silver-plated cutlery, numbered CH, "Peau de Lion" model, part of a lunch service based on a design by Charles François Rossigneux, architect-decorator (1818 - 1907), first exhibited at the 1867 Exposition Universelle, set on a "neo-Greek pedestal table with gold and silver inlaid top on a red copper base". This model also bears the name of the Marquise de la Païva who commissioned it.
