ABBEVILLE 1749 - 1750 A silver repoussé, chased and cast baluster teapot. It stands on a pedestal bordered with gadroons at the base of the hinged lid and at the base of the pouring spout, finished with a hinged lid. The double-doubled lid terminates in a seed whose foliage terrace is echoed at the base of the spout. The thumb rest is engraved with a shell. The wooden handle with inverted scrolls is held by radiating gadroon disks.
