Rare dissertation by Tauffenburg, a Jewish convert to Christianity (born Abraham Oppenheim), on the Jewish oath (more judaico), which Jews had to take before participating in any legal action involving Christians. Tauffenburg demonstrates the absurdity of this oath and exposes several legal aporias caused by the superposition of Jewish and Christian rights (notably in divorce cases involving converts).
