DIALOGUES D'AMOUR - LEON L'HEBREU Dialoghi di amore, di Leone Hebreo medico, di nuouo corretti, et ristampati, Venice, Giouanni Alberti, 1586, in-8, 248 p., early 19th-century Italian half binding, vellum spine and marbled paper-covered boards. A good copy. This famous work by the son of Judah Abravanel, who took refuge in Italy after the exile of 1492, is one of the masterpieces of Renaissance humanist neo-Platonism, here in an unusual late 16th-century edition.
