Large Hispano-Moorish dish in the Manisès style, Spain, 20th century Large earthenware dish with molded decoration and metallic lustre highlighted in cobalt blue, depicting petals radiating around a central medallion featuring a winged hybrid creature with a human head and leonine body, holding between its paws a banner inscribed "Ave Maria". The petals are alternately decorated with floral motifs and small curved stems. The reverse is painted with circles of increasing size. Diameter: 35.3 cm Very slight chips.
