Silver qalamdan pencil box, Iran, early 20th century Oblong silver pen box with rounded ends, decorated with chased poly-lobed mandorles flanked by flowery appendages. Inside are an inkwell with a hinged lid decorated with a shell, and two spoons, one with a hemispherical spoon and the other in the shape of a boteh. Punched 'Abbas on the inkwell lid.
