Ghalian stove, Iran qâjâr, 19th century and later Steel campaniform stove engraved with alternating hares and pairs of birds in flowered medallions and inlaid with gold bifid palmettes. It rests on a wooden base and is surmounted by a silver openwork head of rosettes or stars surmounted by a crescent moon. Tassel chains dangle from the base and upper lip.
