A very old Janus crest, with powerful, expressive faces featuring large, traditional scarifications carved in relief in the most beautiful ancient style. The upward-braided headdress is covered with the old traditional cotton fabric in a blue-green hue, also characteristic of the oldest crests in the corpus. This crest was included in the landmark exhibition "Duen-Fubara" at the Galerie Hélène Kamer in 1975.
