Soldanelles & Nid d'abeilles, model created around [1889] and presented at the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, Paris, 1892, in the Vases de tristesse series. Rare bursiform vase on heel; the neck is stretched, overflowing and drooping. Proof in blown glass; the title decorations are entirely engraved and enriched with silver leaf inclusions. Signed GALLÉ, engraved on the base.
