Two rare printed cotton scarves, Alsace, Louis-Philippe and Napoleon III period. Decorated with botehs and crosshatched checkerboards on very fine cotton (one discoloration); the second on unbleached cotton, fine copperplate printing of branches, thorny hedge border and pair of brooding chickadees (70 x 70 cm).
