Nice set of 6 trousseau tea towels, Alsace, late 19th century. Bleached linen, embroidered in red, white and/or blue thread with traditional domestic symbols, some with the bride's name and wedding date: "Marian Walter, 1859" or "MR 1859" in a cartouche.
