Hanging in Cologne blue resist-dyed Bettelkelsch, Alsace, 18th or 19th century. A lacework of florets and a constellation of picoté dots on a hand-woven linen canvas with a dark-blue reserve print. Size: 145 x 245 cm in 2 joined strips. Marked "NA" in cross-stitch in red (superb condition, never used).
