Set of a velvet bonnet base and two "Vorstecker" decorated with miniature cut-metal motifs, Alsace, 19th century. The bonnet is profusely embroidered with a tree of life in silver thread and paillons; the devantier or Vorstecker in black or blue velvet, rosettes of paillons or applied metal.
