Pair of flintlock pistols converted to percussion. Round barrels with beaded muzzles and thunderbolts. Engraved breech shafts. Round-bodied locks signed "DAUPHINE à Bergerac" and flat-bodied hammers. Cut, chased and engraved steel fittings. Long-eared knobs. Walnut crossbars, partly carved. Fanon ramrods with iron tips. E.M. (wear, traces of oxidation, one pommel nail later). Circa 1780.
