Heavy cavalry saber, probably foreign. Handle covered in stingray with filigree. Brass mounting, small scrolled shell guard adorned with a white metal grenade motif. Blade with flat center. Leather scabbard with three brass fittings (cap detached). A.B.E. (reported scabbard). First half of the 19th century.
