Light cavalry officer's saber in the "hunter" style. Horn handle with silver filigree. Brass mounting (remnants of silver plating), three-prong hilt with half-orillons. Quillon curved towards the tip. Blade with flat back and hollow sides (traces of engraving on the heel). Sheet metal scabbard with two bracelets and two rings. A.B.E. Late 19th century.
