Single-branch hilt with two baguette-shaped pommels and boulé quillon, engraved with foliage. Curved blade with flat back, counter-edge and hollow sides. Wooden scabbard with two large brass fittings, a leather hollow, two reinforcing rods and two rings. Brass cap, cut, engraved and chased, with medallion portrait of Emperor Napoleon I in profile. Long clevis decorated with a trophy of arms, a medallion with an antique-style head, lightning bolts and reserves decorated with star patterns. Iron sting. A.B.E. Consulat-Empire period.
