Chasseurs à cheval officer's saber, model 1792. Full brass filigree handle. Brass mounting. Single-branch hilt with diamond-shaped lugs. Curved blade with flat back, hollow sides and gutter. Later scabbard with two large brass fittings, cut out and hollowed out in leather reinforced with two splints. Asymmetrical iron stinger. A.B.E. Later scabbard. Late 18th century.
