Beautiful Renaissance-style dagger. Chased and gilded brass mounting, engraved flared spindle on both sides. Pommel decorated with women's masks and lion's heads. Crosspiece with two curved quillons of fantastical animals with half-oreillons decorated with leonine mufles. Blade with median flat spot. Leather scabbard with two cut brass fittings. B.E. Second half of the 19th century.
