First edition dedicated to Georges Montorgueil, printed in an edition of 250 copies on Marais vellum. The illustration comprises 41 original etchings by Auguste LEPÈRE (1849-1918), including a frontispiece, 20 headpieces and 20 culs-de-lampe. In addition, there are 20 woodcuts in bistre. A fine copy bound by Noulhac. Slight transfer of some engravings to facing leaves.
