One of 40 copies on Japon paper, enriched with an original signed drawing by Lelong, used for the publication, here for the vignette on page 53, and a suite of illustrations on the same paper, with remarks. Enriched with a portrait of Guys de Maupassant engraved by Adrien Nargeot, in 4 states: on satin, pure etching on japon, with remarks on japon and finished state on the same paper. A very well preserved copy, except for the folder, which is in very poor condition.
