Uncommon first edition, printed in an edition of 220 copies, including 20 for the Société de XX, illustrated with 10 woodcut compositions by A. Mathieu after drawings by the Czech painter and draughtsman Luděk MAROLD (1865-1989). One of 50 copies on chine fort, numbered and signed by the author at the justification, enriched with a suite of figures, second paper after 20 copies on Whatman. A very fine copy bound by Lesieur.
