BLOY (Léon). The Funeral of Naturalism. Public lectures. Copenhagen: G. E. C. Gad, university bookseller, 1891. - In-16, blue half cloth à la Bradel, smooth spine, cover preserved (period binding). Very rare first edition of this lecture on the funeral of naturalism, delivered by Léon Bloy at the Sprogforening on March 20, 1891. Very few copies were printed. This was Bloy's inaugural lecture, and the only one of the many he delivered on this occasion to be published. Only that devoted to Émile Zola was partially reproduced in the magazine "La Plume" the same year. Rubbing to title page. Scattered foxing.
