CLAUDE PARENT (1923-2016) - A MAJOR PROJECT BY THE ARCHITECT FOR A MODERN TOWNHOUSE IN NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE, FRANCE Specially designed and produced exclusively for the private mansion of Mr. and Mrs. X., 1992-1993 Exceptional and important dining room table. Each of the two half-cylinder legs rests on single-tiered half-discs in chromed metal; the spacer simulates a stylized knot in chromed metal with two finishes, matt and shiny. The Macassar ebony veneered top, with its curved and recessed ends, is decorated with a large table runner, echoing the spacer, in chrome-plated metal with matt and high-gloss finishes; the thick belt with edges highlighted by chrome-plated metal angles.
