Printed in color, by the plate, bearing the collector's marks "DK76" and "DK77". Handwritten labels: "N° 549 MADER père circa 1830" and "Frise pittoresque à 6 planches de long. Last made by Lobbé in 1876/77". Each: 54x194cm plus margins with handwritten labels. Condition: wetness, folds, scratches and slight accidents. Note: A detail of this frieze appears in one of the albums of Jules Desfossé's wallpaper collections dated 1823-1851 (see N°63 of this catalog), thus from the Mader manufacture he bought in 1851 when he founded his own company.
