Condition: excellent and very fresh colors, despite minor wear, stains and small tears around the edges. Sources of inspiration: The statue of Armide is a life-size reproduction of James Pradier's Pandora (exhibited at the Salon of 1850 and in London in 1851), with only the diadem replaced by bindweed. The foundry Labroue marketed this Pradier sculpture in 1856.
