Two calligraphic exercises siyâh mashq, Iran, qâjâr, 19th / 20th century Calligraphies on paper in black ink in multidirectional Persian nasta'liq. The first, with text inscribed in beige reserves punctuated with silver on an eggplant background adorned with rinceaux illuminated in gold and polychrome, localized in Qom and dated (date incomplete), mounted as an album page with fine colored borders and a wide orange margin. The second, calligraphy on gold-powdered paper. Dim. calligraphies: 20.5 x 16 cm, and 20.5 x 10.5 cm; dim. first album page: 40.5 x 30 cm. Slight damage to the second page. M.
