Mirror case, Iran qâjâr, dated 1886 and signed Rectangular case in painted and lacquered papier-mâché. The lid is signed in gold letters "Kamrin (?) Ja'afar" and dated 13[0]4H / 1886. On the back of the lid, religious decoration depicting Imam 'Alî with his zulfikar sword and the lion, an assembly of men around him and an assembly of angels in the heavens.
